One more tip, I am trying out a lot of different Linux versions via LiveCD, trying to find one I like that also supports my wireless. Am I doing something wrong here? Hopefully this may help someone else who is having problems getting their 6720S wireless to work. http://codingcontext.com/drivers-hp/drivers-hp-dv8000-ubuntu.php By dell has the Broadcom BCM4321 Reply ↓ Gabriel Villa on October 24, 2011 at 2:19 am said: Thankss!!!!!
METHOD 1) -- Patching your kernel Hardy Heron Kernel 2.6.24 allows the use of (rev 01) hardware, but not (rev 02). everything should work!! AMD HP ProDesk 406 G1 Desktop Pre-installed by manufacturer Intel Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd.

If you apply a patch to the kernel you may use (rev 02) hardware but no more (rev 01). It didn't work for me when running the ISO off of a flash drive, but I took the leap of faith and installed and had no problem (good riddance, XP).
